Well, Work is just miserable! All because of one Manager! This guy name JJ who the Assistant Manager and he been at my work for almost a year and he is really cool! Everyone like him! Except for Michelle the GM. She had to get rid of him by having him be transfer to another panera! Everyone seems upset! Even several people are quitting because of Michelle and I'm one of them.

For several reason is because she has cut everyone hours and only give the most to the one that she favor! Over the weekend, I was looking for someone to work for me on tues and wed so i can go out of town. Well, i had no problem finding someone to work for me on those two days. However, On wed the girl that was suppose to switch with me, my boss wouldn't allow it because she was still in training. Give me a break. she been in the same area for over two weeks. Should be done by now. An associate did this last month and was able to switch even though he was being trained.

I find this so bizarre and unfair. She just blowing it off and losing all these people. I email her earlier today and told her that i wasn't coming in on wed because i did find someone and she wouldn't allow it and that it was fair for someone else to do that. No one else is able to do it because for one.. many are in school or are already schedule that day. Im about to quit but that be okay. I can get myself out to apply for new job. Well, guess i will wait to hear from her tmw.

It july already and soon come 4th of july which I'm looking forward to it. Alot going on this month. I'm in process of getting cochlear implant. WHy? Since march my hearing wasn't doing good and i knew something was wrong. Found out that my hearing did gone down and the hearing aids wasn't giving me much help like it use to. I was a little disappointed but for me to still hear, i'll be getting cochlear implant. Right now, am in process of waiting to get approval from my insurance company once that is approve will get surgery schedule. End of this month, will be going camping like we always do every year.

Work, it appear im still employ at my place. Because when i told my gm that i quit, she was on vacation to mexico and just return today so i'll have to see what happen when i go back today at 4pm to see where i am. I kind of don't want to since i called in last fri and sat (found someone to work for me on fri) but sat there wasn't anyone and i had no babysitter for my son. So, i don't know what gonna happen. I haven't work since last week monday. I'm a little nervous but will be okay. Lisa the human resource for my work company is meeting me on fri to discuss the situation that going on at work. So there will be some change possible but i'll soon be working at a new place.

Im curious to those who tend to wear hearing aids all their life. If something happen to your hearing as you got older like by 30 and it just that the hearing has gone down and the hearing aids hasn't help much. Doctor tell u, if still want to hear best to get cochlear implant.

Would u consider getting one?

Would u still be friend with someone who you been friends with long time and get cochlear implant? Just something i wanted to know from other people.

Ever since I have graduated from NTID with my associate degree in Accounting. I have not had much luck with finding a job in that field. I have been having some thoughts of about going back to school but haven't decided if I want to go through Online Learning Distance or find a school to attend. I have found couple Online Learning distance for the major I'm interested in. I have been thinking about wanting to get into medical billing and coding specialist. I rather do online because of my son. I can also work at well. During the time my son in school, i can work on my study and while he sleeping. So i have to do some research to find what good and if i can get financial aid as well. This would take between 4 to 9 months depend on where I attend. So it doesn't sound too bad. I hope to find something real soon.

Wanted to ask everyone that work right now. If you called in sick, Are u require to find someone to covered your shift. If don't find one it your responsible for the consequence even if it mean termination??

Where I work is horrible because they are losing people because some quit and other are fired. Last week Thursday I was sick with a flu and I called in two hour before my shift started. I had to find someone to covered my shift but there was only one person available to check with and i did called but got an answer from the girl roommate which i couldn't talk to that person. So, I said i didn't get through but can't come in.

It hard because most of the people that work there are school people so it not easy for me to find someone to cover at daytime but night is fine! I was told my one of the manager brian that know sign language that RICK one of actual manager wanted me fired because I didn't have anyone to replace me. Said that even if i can't find someone I still have to come in and do my shift. We already lost 4 people that were fired within two weeks plus one just quit. Brian told Rick to let it go about me because the store is already hurt by firing people. Right now, we have to filled in two people shift that were fired. I did thank brian for keeping me from being fired but of course i had to sign the warning paper. That place is so out of it big time!

Brian even got written up 6 time in one day by rick because RICK was pissed off that day! Brian is a transfer from another panera and he has never been written up til he transfer to the other panera where we work. I just hate rick very much and gonna apply a different job and leave that place. I can't believe how much that place is so messed up because we always have lost people and we are always being short on staff.

I was crying at work when i was supposed to be fired but didn't. I thank brian so much for saving me. He kept me from being fired because he liked me and we are great as friend and he didn't want to lose me.

I was without a car for three months. I finally got a new one. The condition look great! I wish i could buy a nice newer used car but my budget doesn't fit at the moment. As long as the car run and is drivable for awhile will work for me. I got a 1997 Ford Escort LX. It a 4 door so glad to have that. Just glad to have a car to drive now instead of depend on ride!
